Perkins Pond:Ice Out Contest 2025
Spring is just around the corner and as the days warm and the snow melts, the pond loses more and more ice cover. Once a boat can navigate freely from the southern end of the pond, Cady Point, to the northern end of the pond, Chickadee Point, we have reached the official “Ice-Out” date.
The deadline for submitting your entry has passed. Now we wait! We will update you here as the ice melts.
The winner will be the person with the date choice closest to the exact day of ice-out.
In the event more than one person with the date closest to the exact date, the 1/2 pot will be split evenly among the winners.
Track the dates submitted below and see who may be the closest to the actual date.
